Interesting stats from Elias Sports Bureau -- dream SB matchup?

No team with an offense outside of the top 25 has won the Super Bowl (-49ers),

And no team with a defense outside of the top 25 has won the Super Bowl(-Pats,-Pack,-NY),

Which would eliminate all but these teams:

Another: No team whose QB led the league in passing has won the Super Bowl.

Heard on Mike & Mike.

Add:
No 8-8 or worse team has won two playoff games(-Broncos)
No team with rookie QB has won SB

I believe the correct stat is "WON" the Super Bowl for the top 25 stat. They also said something along the lines of "No team that has given up more than 360 yards per game has won" which would also rule out most of those crappy defense teams.

Who's the real saviour here? Advertising wet dream right there. If they could find a way to wedge Peyton Manning in there too then commercial time during the Super Bowl would pay for the entire next year.

The Saints fans are ****ing obnoxious and horrible. They're like Red Sox fans. Taste a bit of success and become unbearable. Hate the team outside of Brees. Hate the fans. Hate the media and their New Orleans stuff.

And seemingly overnight we're inundated with them. Sure, we all know about the Katrina related "migration" but it's more than that. The majority of them have always been among us but never spoke up because their team was a multiple-decade joke to everyone else. Cowboys fans kept being able to point to Super Bowls but Saints fans just kept their heads down and tried to avoid attention.

Then they win and it's like we suddenly get a second bonus set of Cowboy fans who won't shut up.
