My Son & I Got Playoff Tix for Christmas--have a question though...

Hey guys, I hope y'all all had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year.

My son (and I) got 2 tix to the playoff game on the 7th from his Grandpa. The only info I have is that they're located in "Section: Gridiron Sideline," and I'm trying to figure out where that's located. The seating chart grids online haven't really helped me figure anything out. I know that it's up pretty high--or so I've been told.

Was also wondering if there was anything special planned for this game yet? My son & I have been to three games before and he wants to get all duded up and decked out! Dressed up...facepaint...the whole nine yards! He really likes walking through the tailgate stuff, but we don't stop anywhere really, because I don't know anyone.

I really want him to get the WHOLE EXPERIENCE for this playoff game. I REALLY want it to be special for him. If any of you guys can help me out, to make this something truly special for him...from my heart to yours--I'd appreciate it so much!

Too awesome. There should be a section number as well as a seat number on the tickets. Do you know if these are his regular seats or did he buy them off the secondary market? Gridiron is the midfield 600's. Great great seats. You will have a great view.

Stop by the Blue Crew tailgate. Those guys love visitors and you do know them from here! They are in the platinum lot.

Stop by the the Blue Crew and just ask for Bill or TedC they would love to have you there and most of them post on the MB. Have fun and good luck.

Will! Definitely drop by the Blue Crew. "Bill" is TexanBill on the MB. There are a bunch of members of this board that are Blue Crew members, at least 10 if not more. If I tried to list them all and forgot someone I'd be in trouble! OF COURSE, you would get to see ME!!

Do you have a parking pass? Where will you be staying? You might be able to walk through the gate on Kirby and Westridge, since you have tickets. I'm not sure about that though. I'm pretty sure security will be tough since it's a playoff game. There is another gate you can walk through off Kirby, and then you just turn right and look for the BIG FLAG with BLUECREW TAILGATERS on it flying high in the front corner of the platinum lot, corner of Kirby and Westridge.

TexansChick tailgates on platinum also, not far from us, and she visits us a lot. Aj, who writes for the Examiner, also tailgates on platinum, not far from us. Lots of fun, very family friendly tailgate. Don't worry about bringing anything either, there will be plenty.

Gridiron, Tx is the entire 5th, 6th, and 7th levels at Reliant, including endzones. Since it mentions the sideline, Nitro was correct that you will most likely be between the 20's, iirc.

Definitely stop by the Blue Crew for tailgating festivities. They do it right and treat you like part of their crew. Awesomely good time.

Truth is, the tix aren't even MINE. My son got the tix from his grandpa (my Dad) for Christmas. He just needed a chaperone and well, SHUCKS, I volunteered.
