Win all your home games and half your away games and you're 12-4.
The Texans should have 6 gimmes within their division. Having Minnesota, Buffalo, and Miami at home means they have another three gimmes at home. That's 9 games right off the bat the Texans should win without too much trouble. If they can't win 10 or 11 games and the division again next year, it's time for a change. |

What's the over/under on the number of sacks we get against Jay Cutler? I'm going with 6.

Mario (if he's back) might do what Osi did to McNabb to Cutler.

This^^^^^!! Don't like Monday night games either! But, national attention is good for the players, I understand that. The lack of National recog is probably what cost some of our guys a trip to Hawaii. We need fans from all over the NFL to become fans of our Texans! Other than that, I detest games sch during the week.

I want the Texans showcased on Thanksgiving. It and Super Bowl Sunday is when even non football fans watch the games.

Meh, the last thing we need is more morons watching football.
The real fans will watch whenever, that's all that matters. The only game I want "casual fans" to watch us in is the Super Bowl. That's it. |

I know it's early, & we've still got this season to play out. But I definitely agree that we should win 10 games regardless. This year should serve as the standard. Good coaches, good teams, overcome.

I think it's WAAAAAY too early to talk about how many wins we could have next season, much less "easy" wins, before the draft, free agency, coaching changes, etc, etc, etc...

Detroit is scheduled to play on CBS for Thanksgiving next year. That means that the road team will come from the AFC... Detroit plays two home games vs. the AFC: Houston and Indy. Therefore, Houston or Indy must be the game scheduled next Thanksgiving vs. Detroit.

This year the Texans front office had its best offseason with Free agent signings and a very good draft. The Coaching staff seems to hit a great stride Wade has been amazing and Kub has done a great job with all the injuries this team has suffered. The players have played with a chip on thier shoulders and a swagger. I am hoping that all these things which is the mark of a good team transfer next year and become the norm here in Houston.
Things to look forward too. Our O Line played great this year and that was without depth we lost Rashad Butler (T) and another strong BU linemen his name escapes me right now if we had this depth this year our OLine would have been fresher and even more dominant AJ healthy A full offseason of defense working in Wades system Get Mario Backand Sharpton a key back up ILB A healthy Schaub |

We're very fortunate that our OL has stayed as healthy as it has. But depth at the OL spot doesn't keep our boys fresh. There is no regular rotation for the OL like there is for the DL.... they play every offensive snap, like the QB.
