Mclain is reporting via twitter that garcia and delhomme are working out for the team tomorrow. I don't know about you but delhomme looked awful at the end of his career.

Delhomme, but let's hope Yates does well, stays healthy, and he never gets on the field.

Garcia.
He has a never-give-up spirit that I think this team needs right now.

I like Jake Delhomme he has been to the superbowl as a starter and played well but lost NE 32 CAR 29.
(16-of-33 for 323 yards, 3 passing touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 113.6 passer rating), as well as setting a record for longest offensive play from scrimmage in Super Bowl history (an 85-yard pass to Muhsin Muhammad), the Panthers fell on a last-minute field goal by Adam Vinatieri. |

I'm good with it coming down to these two guys. I don't see how Delhomme has much of anything left to offer...his ending in Cleveland was pretty bad.
Garcia is mobile, that ALONE makes him a better choice. Barely.

Garcia would be a better fit. He's played in the WC offense. If he had really mpressed Gary last week then I dobt Delhomme would be coming in for a tryout.
Garcia's best attribute at this stage of his career is his wife. She's extremely hot. |

Haha! Pretty much my sentiments exactly. The rest of John McClain's tweet mentions that Garcia played for Texans QB coach Greg Knapp at San Francisco. He's played in a system similar to what the Texans run. I would think the Garcia decision would be a snap. |

I can find negatives and positives for both Garcia and Delhome so I am ok with it either way.

Out of the two I'll take Garcia, even if he is 41 years old. Hell, I'd take Vinny Testaverde or Archie Manning over Jake Delhomme. Even David Ca...okay maybe not.

Garcia wouldn't be a terrible guy to have around. We might as well get him in here and have him start learning the playbook just in case he is needed later on. Its Yates' job to lose though.

Please not Delhome. That guy was an interception machine his last couple of years. Garcia is old but better for this offense than Delhome. I can't believe this is what we are down to.
