Why get rid of kubiak now regardless. we are 7-3 first place in the AFC. All the while doing this without AJ, M.W, D.M and foster for the first 3 games, tate for 2 games. If we still play as good as we have been playing with Leinart at QB then Kubes def desirves to start getting some credit.

Yes, Kubes gets another pass from McNair.
And yes, the team earned it: 7-3 losing your best defensive player, getting only 2+ games with both your best offensive players in the game, and now losing your most important player for the season. Now let's see where the rest of this season goes. |

schaub consistently proves to be too brittle. he hasn't even really taken many good shots this year.
just tells me we need to keep looking at other QB's until we find one that CAN TJ |

Kubiak kept schaub in the game and did not think about trying Lienart out. Heck GB just took out Rogers in the 2nd half. I do not think if we tank the season that Kubes gets the pass. It is bonehead ego calls like "I play my starters all game, that will be the demise of Kubes

Maybe Kubes left him in because us board members have complained for so long that Kubiak never goes for the jugular. Maybe he read the board and was just trying to give us what we wanted. |

Kubes is out of excuses. 10 wins keeps his job. A playoff win keeps his job. Excuses will not.

I agree with this. With 3 games vs. Jville, Indy and Carolina. You also have to assume that with having the #1 defense and two of the top 10 RBs, we should be able to sneak out one or two vs. Cincy, Tenn, and ATL. Quote:

the chances are that we are still going to make the playoffs.
Leinart only needs to win half of the remaining games on the schedule which if you look at it we have very good chances going against the likes Panthers, Colts, Titans, and Jags. Winning 3 of 4 of those shouldn't be too difficult if our defense keeps up its performance and the offense can keep the running game going. |

How are they gonna stop our running game if they can't stack 12 men in the box?

Wouldn't you use it under same circumstance if you were the coach?
