I think it was a "rub it in their faces" thing for Ward being he played for Tampa and they did not leave on good terms...

I'm sure Ward pestered Kubiak all week. I like giving all of them some touches. It will make the all the more fresh in the playoffs.

We always put Ward in when the game is in hand at the end.
