All I'm saying is my cousin who played for more than 10 yrs and he used to throw mega parties. A lot of the guys whom he kicked it with used to throw mega parties or just parties in general. None of those parties happened a week before the season. Its time to be locked and loaded for the season. I know a man has lost his life and that's sad, I'm just saying from smiths perspective that the party should've have happened.

Different strokes, different folks.

If no one loses their life many of us likely never hear about the party.

Sounds like someone was too drunk to do anything, I mean if you're too drunk to save yourself from drowning at a party?!? Dang. That's like, wasted drunk.

It's tough but these things happen. A neighbor growing up found her kid face down in the pool but in time to save him. Tough for Smith to lose a friend but at the same time....a grown man should be handling his business better than that. Clearly.

That's assuming he was drunk or high on something else. But this man could have had a medical emergency like a seizure which would have rendered him unconscious. I would lean toward drunk or high since it was a party, but who knows.

I realize most of us have probably kind of forgotten about this, but to close things out...

What kind of jackass has to make a comment that's deemed "Comment is abusive and has been removed."

Oh, Ah, that makes sense: A Bengals and a Lions fan. Keep it classy Detroit and Nati.
