You don't want that. The texans do not get better letting Mario go. He is very strong against the run, a terrible matchup for opposing OCs, and a very good player. He may not be 16 mil against the cap good, but that problem will get taken care of at the next contract. My guess is he gets resigned for 8-10 mil a year, instead of 15 like he is now.

Completely agree. I'd sign Aubrayo Franklin-NT and start Mark Anderson at WOLB or Brooks Reed, save alot of money, and gain a boat load of draft picks. Sounds like something Belichick (spelling?) would do.

Huge signing for the Texans. Three-fourths of our secondary just got faster and better at pass coverage. (Joseph, Quinn, Manning) And we've got to hope/expect that someone from the Kareem, McManis, Harris, Carmichael, McCain pool of players that one of them can be decent at CB #2.

Kick returns aren't as important with the new rule changes, I don't know anything about Manning's punt return abilities, but Keo really shines on punts

Punt returns is what I was refering to in the post above .... JJ still scares the crap outa me.

I completely forgot that Keo retuned punts in college ..... they have several options at both now.

We have some good options in the return game.

I still have hopes for trindon, but it will be extremely hard for him to make this roster and he will have to be phenomenal.

If I'm not mistaken, a few of the udfa's we picked up can return as well.

By trindon not being able to play wr or rb he will have to absolutely shine as a return man.
