Undrafted free agent last season....he did put up 102 yards in the last game of the year in 2004 against a buffalo team that had to win to have a shot to make the playoffs.....granted he did this with 2nd and 3rd stringers around him.....


some of the posts in here are freakin hilarious......there is no way the Texans are as bad as they looked yesterday...that said....unless the OL can play much better or your secondary can actually cover someone....it will be a long day next Sunday....

You're talking about a team who beat your Steelers in 2002 with only 47 yards of offense. Technically speaking from that game to this one we're only 73 yards better than we were then so yeah, we suck pretty bad.

don't get all pissy....Didn't I point out that the texans were not as bad as they looked yesterday....I was really hoping they would beat the hell out of the bills since their fans are ignorant.....

Ok let me start over. I said have faith, it's one game in a long season.

I said I THINK even if the Texans play their A game they'd have a hard time beating the Steelers.

The Texans DO have talent and DO have the capability to beat teams. They are lacking in the O line no doubt but there are ways to score and play well without having the best O line in the league. When you have players like Johnson and DD you can score in this league.

I simply don't get the doom and gloom. One thing though....just from this board it's more what the Texans didn't do and less what the Bills did. I don't see many people giving the Bills any credit. It's just how bad the Texans are.

The Texans are starting their fourth year without a line that can get the job done and yet they expect a different outcome. I don't anymore.

This team HAS played better each year. I didn't think they were a playoff team based on the very tough division they are in and also conference. This is the first game. They stunk. They played a much better team.

A big game at home. They are a big Dawg. Look for the Texans to throw a shutout and win by nine points. Three field goals on the way to developing the offense. By the end of the season it will be a well oiled machine.

Willie was signed by Mac Brown at UNC, Mac was hired by Texas and the new coach at UNC, John Bunting told Willie he wanted him heavier, Willie said no so, was the 3rd string back. Willie showed up at Latrobe *Steeler camp* and asked for a tryout, he made the team as an undrafted rookie. He started the Buffalo game last year. Steelers 3rd string against Buffalos 1st string, who were trying to make the playoffs. Willie torched them for 102 yards. Us Steeler fans were never worried about using our 3rd string back. Even Duce now says, Willie should start
