It just seems like a lack of motivation to me. The talent is there but they don't have anyone kicking them in the backside. Capers seems like a nice guy but nice never won anything. Some one needs to come in and get in their faces. I'm not a Parcells fan but if someone screws up he gets in their face and lets them know. Plus he isn't afraid to have someone ride the pine.
From the limited games that I have seen Carr seems to have the tools but the O-line is killing him. He is totally gun shy and expects to get his head taken off on every play. The same thing will happen to Banks or Ragone.
These guys need to be motivated and have a little fear for their jobs put into them. If I'm the owner, I don't fire anyone, not yet, I want to see what they do against the Steelers. We can assume they are going to lose but I would base my decision on performance, if they fall flat in a game they should be up for then I start firing people. The bye week gives a little bit of leway and time to prep.
