I don't know if that's what they intended but for all practical purposes that's what they just did. Good thing too IMO. As bad as they are right now I don't think any good can come from it if they keep on "trying".

Well, it is bad coaching.

But it's also bizarre because I can't get a read on these guys. Usually coaches are either conservative or not. Capers wasn't in the first half... I wouldn't have even thought about going for 4th and goal from the two. He did, and it works, even though we didn't have to at the time.

He went for 4th and 2 when there was tons of time left, but wouldn't go for 4th and an inch in the closing minutes when any chances were on the line? Very hard to understand.

Until the Texans get rid of Chris Palmer as OC, then this team will NEVER WIN more than 5 games..When you have a TV announcer comment that you always run on first down --that is pathetic. I wouldn't let Palmer call the plays for a junior high practice squad team.

Obviously those some of those 7 wins flattered us. It was probably unlucky for us that we won some of those 'cos we could have done with an earlier draft pick now it seems...

If we get 5 wins this yr that will seem about 6 wins too many to get our hopes up for next yr...JMO!
