Default Malcolm Sheppard a Titan

Suffering from a series of stingers in his neck, Tennessee Titans starting center Eugene Amano has been placed on injured reserve, ending his 2010 season, according to ESPN AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky.

With Amano on the shelf, the team signed defensive tackle Malcolm Sheppard off of the Houston Texans' practice squad (guess who they're playing Sunday). In addition, this means that Fernando Velasco is the likely starter for the team as they close out the final trio of games.

Guess that means we've lost one less poster on the message board?

Good luck to you on the Titans MB's Malco...er, guy.

OH LOOK!

The annual "scoop up a Texans player so they can get intel from him" trick.

Bud Adams and his goon squad are as predictable as Kubiak's gameplanning.

Arian's mom posts here? Interesting.

I hope that's not a bad omen...so far we're 2 for 2 in family members of players who are now ex-posters.

Chris Myers's dad posted here once or twice as well. This was before the whole "Chris Myers sucks and wears rollerskates on Sundays" meme went around last year.

He posted under the name 55olinesdad.

Bud's reason for taking Sheppard was as an "informant." Spies, I tell you! There are spies against us all over the league! Everytime we turn around, one of our players gets picked up by our schedule opponents. Spies I tell you! People say I'm paranoid! They say I'm crazy! But there are spies all over! There!! There's one under my bed!! Gotcha now! Gonna sew your ears, mouth and eyelids shut! Whew!! There, one less spy for the Texans to worry about now!
