For our serious posters who tape the games and study the tapes.
Usually I cannot even keep up with who is in the game, much less how they are doing. How is Travis Johnson doing when he is in the game? Your please. Is he playing up to his number one selection? I guess it is difficult for him to really stand out in the position he plays. cac:

I think he does a great job soaking up blocks.

I think he's played well.
I got to the Cowboy game pretty earlier, and was wathcing TJ, Smith, Walker and couple of others streching together and runnign sprints. Tj has clearly earned the respect and acceptance of the rest of the D-line; he also is the quickest of the bunch out of his stance. I think he will play on the 3rd and long type plays. |

I've seen that Capers likes his ferocity. Given time to acclimate to NFL he should be quality depth this year and push Walker next season. I am focusing on CC Brown and Mathis. Morency has already proven his worth. He should give DD a breather occasionally which can only help Davis. If only the O line holds up......

I was really apprehensive when took him but now I can see him being a major building block in our defense so far. True he does take the occasional play off but he does an outstanding job occupying the OL while our still-learning LBs run wild. And that is soooo important in a 3-4. Plus I love his intial burst. He has the ability to collapse the pocket himself. Bottom line: a little rough around the edges but an incredible talent. Just needs a little polishing.
