The point of this post is simple... even though it was a preseason game, the Cowboys' defense came out headhunting. That's how football is played, 90% attitude and the rest talent and coaching.

Let's look at the Patriots for example. They don't have the best talent in the NFL necessarily, but they strap up and come to play every game, be it preseason, regular season or post-season. They bring the wood coupled with the attitude and just win.

This team will not win until they learn how to impose their will on their opponent. There's too much of a "take what the opponent gives us" attitude... IMO.

Actually, most Cowboys fans are excited about a defense finally, sure they will pick back at Texan fans but remember there really is no rivalry here to speak of at all. Most (though not all) Dallas fans are excited the team is finally showing signs of life after 8 years of poor decisions by Jerry.

So to be honest, most Cowboys fans are happy we are getting defensively aggressive and actually showing positive signs of development. The comments to Texan fans are primarily for good fun just like many Texan fans stuck it to the Dallas fans when they won as well.

If you have thick skin and are not a complete homer you will just say yes this time they won. Like it has been stated it is just a preseason game but to say it is totally meaningless is not accurate IMO.

What you might want to do when regain your faculties is watch how Roy Williams got away with using his helmet as a WEAPON not once no not even twice but THREE times. Cowboys so proud during 3rd quarter break they went to commercial showing him using his helmet. Not to worry I advised Mike Periera to look @ the game film and look at Mr. Williams style of play.
