Just checked the scores on NFL.com. The Colts just lost the first preseason game 37-17.

We're sweeping the Colts this year, go ahead and put 2 in the W column for Houston.

Didnt the Texans lose as well? The Colts had a 10-0 1st quarter lead over a better team than the Texans played. From that game you decide the Texans are going to sweep??

Detroit went 4-0 in the preseason of 2008, then 0-16 for the regular season.

I think the Texans will finally overcome their mental blocks within the division this year and go 5-1, but I'm not basing that off of the preseason scores.

Just read the recap on si.com. It sounds like they had a similar outing to the Texans. First teamers looked great and all the scrubs stunk it up. And in news that should surprise no one, DC was sacked three times.

Peyton hasn't suffered season ending injuries for 2 reasons. He gets rid of the ball very quickly and he rarely gets sacked. It's pitch and catch for him. He has no speed to avoid a rush but he rarely has to worry about it.

I finally got around to watching this game again. Totally missed who the 49ers back-up QB was. He still looked Jittery in the 2nd Qtr, settled down a little in the 3rd. He's lucky Anthony Dixon is the real thing.

We saw a little bit of it last year, and we had better be prepared for it week 1, but these Colts like to blitz. Not something they've been known for.
