On their website, they have a hard-to-find draft area and they've projected out the entire draft...here's who they've come up with for Houston:
1. CJ Spiller RB 2. Perrish Cox CB 3. Linval Joseph DT 4. Darrell Stuckey S 5. Zane Beadles G 6. John Estes C 6. Cory Jackson FB 7. Trindon Holliday WR http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/draf...ft?season=2010 I got the magazine last night and looked at their top 100 picks and they looked nothing like this...my first thought was "Worst Texans Mock EVAR!!!!!" but I can't find a link on it. I'd be pretty happy with the first 5 rounds on the mock currently on their website...and Holliday in the 7th would be fantastic. Not to sure about the FB pick, but I'm guessing they realize that Spiller's not going to be a goalline stud and Jackson could provide that for us.

I could live with it.Cox may have more upside than any corner except Ansah.

My intial reaction was not a great one with no OL early, but back to back OL later on and some decent prospects makes this one ok with me.

Yeah the O did all right with what we had and SMith FA + healthy line + these two guys add depth. I could see rotating Spiller and Slaton & Foster may become our power back.I'd get Joique Bell in 6th.

I like Beadles, and would be surprised if he is not a target as he can play multiple positions.

Yeah...I didn't really dig the FB pick in the sixth. Even Lonyae Miller there would make more sense to me.

Agreed as no chance to beat out our starter. As we have a history of low round guys making team, let's use that pick elsewhere.

Looks pretty realistic to me. Spiller would be a good option if Mathews is off the board. He would work well with Foster. Switching rounds with Joseph and Cox is more likely, as Joseph is rising up draft boards. Stuckey had a better junior year than senior, which is why he might be available in the 4th. Beadles and Estes fit the ZBS lineman profile. Holliday is a good return prospect.
Cory Jackson? Not Rashawn Jackson, but Cory Jackson? Is there even a remote chance this guy is drafted? Is he the son of a friend of Kubiak? That doesn't make sense.

You know we got smoked the first game by the Jets for a reason. We couldn't run the ball all year for a reason. I just find it curious so many are running pell mell creating the same circumstances as the first game last year. You're drafting two guys just like Studard/Caldwell. I have no idea what you expect to accomplish with that ?

working of Sporting News, I also incorporated a trade with the Eagles...
texans trade pick 20 and 197 to eagles for 37, 70, 105. According to the chart, that works out slightly better for the Eagles: 37. Kareem Jackson CB 51. Brian Price DT 70. Toby Gerhart RB 81. Hardesty RB 105. M. Tennant C 118. B. Ghee CB 150. Myron Rolle S 187. Akasi Owusu-Ansah S 227. Skelton QB looking at this draft, I would be trying to move up out of rounds 6-7 into the midrounds and out of the 1st and into the 2nd and 3rd. There seems to be extreme value between rounds 2-4, particularly in our need areas: RB, OC/OG, pass rushing DT, CB, S |

I believe this cat is out of the bag. If you want him your going to have to spend a top one hundred pick to get him. More love anyway than 187. Long armed (34") quick footed safety who has a shot to make a CB by September. Sound familiar ? I was sold when I saw his feet in the W drill. Very quick feet. And back to back power backs ? I don't know about that one.
