1) St. Louis Rams - Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
This has become a no brainer pick 2) Detroit Lions - Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State Detroit decides to protect Stafford and cause a big run on OT 3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska Another no brainer 4) Washington Redskins - Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma With McNabb in the fold protecting his blind side is priority #1 5) Kansas City Chiefs - Brian Bulaga, OT, Iowa The Chiefs have spent way too much money on defense in the last 2 drafts so believe it or not they will take a pass on McCoy and take an OT 6) Seattle Seahawks - Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland No more Walter Jones. Not the tackle they wanted but there is a run on ot like the 2008 draft 7) Cleveland Browns - Eric Berry, S, Tennessee He will start for the Brownies from day 1 8) Oakland Raiders - Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma I'm sorry Gerald. Your slide brings you to the black hole. 9) Buffalo Bills - Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame The Bill pounce on Clausen 10) Jacksonville Jaguars - Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech The Jags need a pass rush desperately. They went with 2 offensive tackles last year so it is back to defense. 11) Denver Broncos - Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama Instant starter for the Broncos 12) Miami Dolphins - Sergio Kindle, DE, Texas Can you picture Parcells taking this guy? Some scouts have said that Kindle is looking better than Orakpo did pre draft. I find that hard to believe. 13) San Francisco 49ers - Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers Gotta keep Carr from going fetal when filling in for Smith 14) Seattle Seahawks - CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson Carroll knows how to use a back like Spiller 15) New York Giants - Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee The Gmen need a dt so they are excited to see Williams make it to them 16) Tennessee Titans - Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida Hopefully Pierre Paul was a one year wonder and busts for the Titans 17) San Francisco 49ers - Taylor Mays, S, USC I think Singletary would be willing to take a chance on Mays. 18) Pittsburgh Steelers - Mike Iupati, OG, Idaho A match made in heaven 19) Atlanta Falcons - Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri The Falcons need a lb and Weatherspoon should be a day 1 starter for them. 20) Houston Texans - Earl Thomas, S, Texas The Texans just get plain old lucky having Thomas fall to them at 20 21) Cincinnati Bengals - Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma Another weapon for Palmer 22) New England Patriots - Jerry Hughes, OLB, TCU A suprise by the Patriots but will probably be thought of down the road as a really good pick at #22 23) Green Bay Packers - Joe Haden, CB, Florida The Pack can't believe Haden fell to them. Sorry Rodgers no first round ol for you. You are to good at scrambling 24) Philadelphia Eagles - Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State Much needed cb help 25) Baltimore Ravens - Jared Odrick, DE, Penn State Odrick should fit right in the 3-4. 26) Arizona Cardinals - Charles Brown, OT, USC The Cards need a tackle and they take the last hope for the Cowboys just ahead of them 27) Dallas Cowboys - Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State Not to shabby of a consolation prize. 28) San Diego Chargers - Ryan Matthews, RB, Fresno State Their dream back falls right to them 29) New York Jets - Everson Griffen, DE/OLB, USC This is the pick that gave me the most trouble. I honestly don't know who they will pick 30) Minnesota Vikings - Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers Fills a huge need 31) Indianapolis Colts - Brian Price, DT, UCLA This could a nightmare for us if Price turns out to be as good in the NFL as he was in college. Pressure from everywhere 32) New Orleans Saints - Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan The Saints need a better pass rush and they are happy to get Graham |

My gut says that the Bills don't go QB with their #1.
They have a lot of needs on D with their change to a 3-4 and I think they will go on that side of the ball. They also have a lot of young QB options that I think Gailey will look at before picking a QB. I'm thinking McCoy or Tebow in the second is more likely. If Haden falls to us I'd be grieved if we let him pass. Elite CB prospect > Elite S prospect.

Very realistic mock
I could see the Bills taking Clausen. He would be a good choice for them. Strong arm and has played in cold weather. If they go QB I could see them trading into the bottom of rd.1 or top of rd.2 and taking a OT like Brown or Saffold. Then they could start working on the defense. |

Looks really good. I do have a few questions.
Quote:
1) who do you think their pick would have been 2) where do you think Bradford would land 3) Do you think it would be better or worse for Clausen had the Rams not picked him, and he landed where you otherwise think he would? Quote:

If you answer that question with anything other than a yes, why would he take that risk? Think the Cowboys are going to move up don't you? So do I. I think this will be the most active draft as far as 1st round trades go.

2)Washington. Even with McNabb they would groom Bradford and be set at qb 3)I think either way he still goes to the Bills because Bradford will be gone Quote:

I meant Bradford. Where do you think would be the perfect opportunity/fit for him?

As soon as I saw your six to 13 picks, before I read it, I knew you were mocking Earl to us. If they want him, they will have to go get him....at the seven teen.
Perfect for both teams. price range is reasonable. The two questions, will the Texans live with a smallish free ranging safety. The game has changed and the back end guys must be hip flexible and cover. It has been my impression that the Texans are looking for Saftey prospects who were close to will LBs. . If the 9ers take the higher rated OLT prospect at thirteen instead of Iupati at seventeen, that would close the door to the deal. However If they take one of the top corners first that would open up the door for a deal.they could wait for Iupati at twenty and gain picks. However, I have Earl going to Sf at the thirteen. then coming back and taking Iupati or whom ever with the seventeen. The other thing is, Philly is holding bunches of draft capitol. They can pretty much jump any one they want to to get who they like. Point being, Earl Thomas is a pipe dream for us at this point unless they move up and go get him.
