While I would really like to see Thomas fall to us in the first and getting a guard in the 2nd, I dont think that will happen. So...

1. Iupati- I am beginning to doubt that he will be there either.
2. Rolle- This guy will be rising very fast after the combine.
3. Tate- Downhill runner, very good in pass pro & receiving.

Shipley in the 3rd might be more reasonable. I don't think the team will put WR as a 1st or 2nd round need this year. 3rd may also be too early.

I think Iupati should be available at 20. He is a guard first. Als, just because he is high on our particular fan draft board doesnt mean he is high on NFL teams draft boards.

I was just saying in another post that I think D. Williams, Iupati, or Mays will be there for us at 19/20. Of course the Combine could change all that, but as of now, I think those 3 will be there. Of those 3 I think the best choice would be Williams, but I wouldn't be upset if they got Iupati. I just don't think the Texans will go for a Guard that early. They may go after Mike Johnson, G, Alabama in the 2nd or wait till later rounds to find one. JMHO!

Iiupai should be gone either to San Franciso with their 2nd pick or Pittsburg #18. Mays is also is an option for Pittsburgh. I don't see Rolle this high but has looked good at Seniors so far. My favorite guard is Asamoah with Mitch Petrus from Arkansas a close 2nd.

Beerlover, Rmartin 65 and I have been working on a mock for a few weeks consisting of players that we want that should be at our picks that offer a good chance that Texans could draft. Just to reach a compromise among three of us was harder than I expected. Need at which round, impact guy versus a non- starter next year but possible long term starter for many years, etc. had us debating for hours. Then you have a guy shooting up the charts or you find out that scouts are not happy with player conduct such as Perrish Cox. We are down to round five after re-vamping top three again. I hope you find it interesting when we post.

I disagree. His "stock" may be third round right now, but when things are all said and done I believe he will be a second rounder. He is doing well at the Senior Bowl and he will test well at the combine too.

Better hope this last season was not an abberation as he had only a so-so 2008. 159 attempts (avg 13 a game) for 664 yds 4.2 avg. He might be you 3rd or 4th back. He did double yards this season and increased to 5.2 avg.
