I'd rather see Norris or Breunner in there blocking for Carr than Wells.

I agree with that. Norris is an absolute mauler when it comes to blocking. Wells may be able to give us more offensive versatility, but I don't think we'll ever see him be the same kind of blocker as Norris. It will be interesting to see if Wells will be able to be more productive being in the backfield with DD taking much of the focus of the defense.

I can see Wells in there at the same time, but my guess is that they are going be in a split backfield formation with DD.

I doubt they are going to line up in the I on 3rd downs... on long yardage situations with Norriss or Wells.

I support the team that allows Carr to get enough time to distribute the ball. It's just really a drive killer to get David Carr Sacked even before he gets into the 3 step drop back. That was just painful to watch.

However when Carr had time to unload the ball, he was usually on the money. He didn't make a lot of bad trows when he had time.

But if this is a weak Offensive Line again, Wells would really provide another option for Carr in the short yardage game, by being a decoy of Dominick Davis or vice versa. If the Offensive line can hold his own, then I would rather use the TE more.

Well, training camp is just around the corner of July

Interesting.

Special Teams Coach Joe Marciano loves Wells. A team guy, hard worker, follows instructions, plays hard. He can't be too contact shy if Coach Joe likes him.
