Hey, yall, Old School Oiler here, just startin to get into these new boys down in H-town. Was playin 2k5 the other day as the Texans and noticed that they have a really cool Offense. I tell ya, with the right play callin, this team could be a lotta fun ta watch. Admittedly, I ain't seen a whole lotta Texan games, so can someone tell me--how's this O look in real life? Where're the trouble spots? Any additions (either draft or FA) that look good?
Thanx Future Texan Fan

The offense's biggest trouble spot has to be the OLine. There is alot of talent at all the so-called "skilled" positions. AJ is just a freak of nature, and Gaff + Armstrong have super glue like hands. DD is a workhorse back, and he gets dinged up a bit. When he's healthy he's excellent, but when he's not ...he's not. Some of the key additions are WR Jerome Mathis who is a burner, and had one of the fastest 40 times at the combine ever. We also picked up RB Vernand Morrency out of OK St. He should be able to fill in for DD from time to time, and help to give the offense a consistent running game. We also picked up a C from Arizona St named Drew Hogdon. All the info on him seems to indicate hes a strong and talented kid, but he probably won't see much time next season. His impact will be seen after he gets a year or more of the Texans' strength and conditioning program.

Don't forget we desperately need a TE that can catch and block.
