Just when you thought Titans coach Jeff Fisher's week couldn't get worse, it did.

Sally Reese, wife of former Titans General Manager Floyd Reese, called in to Nashville's sports radio show, The Zone (104.5-FM) on Thursday afternoon, and proceeded to rip team management for how they handled her husband's resignation two years ago.

But she hadn't taken her best shot yet.

She then managed on the air to accuse Fisher of extra-marital affairs, and of the team's 59-0 loss to the New England Patriots last Sunday, said she wished the Titans would have lost 100-0.

This doesn't surprise me. AJ and I had a run in with her in Nashville after a Texans game there. She was a loud mouth drunk giving us some crap about Houston.

This truly has been a bizarre season over there. We joke around about curses, but this is crazy. First McNair's death, then all of this.

How about even, "The Titans will win one game." Boy, this looked easy, didn't it? Some even thought Jeff Fisher's club would win 9, 11, 13 games (as they did in '08). But in the span of only six games, they've somehow let up 132 more points than Denver alone. The loss of Albert Haynesworth may be a big reason, as the Titans leading sacker (James Jones) is tied for 27th in the NFL with a grand total of three. But the biggest reason for the Titans' fade from first to worst could simply be karma. In short, when you kick the city of Houston in the gut by resurrecting the uniforms of the Oilers and having the team who abandoned the city wear them complete with the coach donning a "Houston Oilers" hat, it means conjuring up luck so bad that it makes the Madden Curse look tame.

What a freakin' circus. Buck Fud is the ringleader, tophat and all. I take nothing but joy from the obvious negative karma that is sweeping across Titans land. Like Grams said, mess with a stolen identity, wrap yourself in a dead team's gear, stomp and disrespect the icon of one of the NFL's greatest franchises, keep the baby blue of Chokeville around, and let your roadkill-wearing owner run that franchise into groundup chicken slunk, and it's called 'getting what you deserve'.

Maybe this is finally an exorcism for Houston. Actually putting on Oiler gear in TN finally moved the karma up there. Between the towel incident, trying to spite Houston (How's that working out?) by taking Vince and this they are doomed. With luck, Bud will run the show for another 20 years and complete destroy the team like Al Davis.

I'm loving every minute of it too.

The Cleveland Browns still exist, records and all. Modell was obviously forgiven by the football gods.

With the Irsays, they are still the Colts, and they are not the only owners of that franchise like Slug is with the Oilers/Titans. The Colts already had football championships in their past, plus, God made Peyton Manning on the eighth day, so they've got that going for them.

As far as Al Davis, he's a lightweight compared to Buck Fud. So he moved his team to L.A. and back. Big deal. They were always the Raiders. And his ring was earned by the awesomeness that is John Madden, the highest winning percentage coach in football history.

Nah, sorry, man, but your chosen franchise is snake bitten with a negative karma that scares even the highest ranked voodoo priestesses.
