It's always good to get out and meet other fans. Good times are had by all. Something you might want to look into in the future is spell/grammar check. There are alot of spell/grammer nazi's on here and you don't want to fall victim

Too late...he's been ripped before. You KNOW you've got it made when your biggest worry of the day is someone else's spelling/grammar skills.

I haven't made it out to a Draft Party yet. Maybe this year. From what I saw last year it was the radio geeks and muppet at the front and whole bunch of empty seats.

All Access is what you look forward to for meet & greets I believe. I haven't made it to one of those. Not much of an autograph/standing in line kinda guy.

Draft party is fun. It's free to get in and if you want food when you get in you pay for it. It's nice to be around fans who care about the draft and the Texans as much as you do.

Lots of activities for kids, usually tours of the stadium, tons of TVs on the draft. Autographs to be had, but not as many as at All Access.

Kid, go to the draft party, you can meet some of the players, maybe even get interviewed by the local news and you can meet the new Texans cheerleaders too.

Last year, for the first time, they allowed tailgating before the draft party. Does anyone know if they are allowing tailgating this year. I am debating between going and watching at home. The tailgating would probably tip my decision into going.

Actually, that's not true. The year we picked Mario I hung out with Donna and Andy at thier bus. I forget what colored lot it was but we were right up front where the pedestrian bridges were.

I don't know if they offically allowed tailgating only last year, but I know for the past 4 years that I have gone, we have tailgated before and after. I don't know if we were really allowed to, but no one said anything to us.

I went the year we got Okoye & the 1st year after the Bull Run in the dome. Honestly, i don't like them b/c more often than not, there are more "fans" there who just want to drink & party than those who have a clue about the team & football knowledge in geneal. It's sort of in the same vein as to why i prefer to watch games at home than go to the actual ones.

Maybe it's just the people who i ended up talking with the times i went...

I went the year we drafted AJ. It was fun and I was able to get autographs from McKinney, Aaron Glenn, and Jerry Deloach. They were all real nice guys. The only guy that seemed like he wished he wasn't there was Jamie Sharper, he was kind of a butthole. All in all I had a great time, and plus we drafted the baddest receiver on planet Earth that year!
