Even though we couldn't come to an agreement, since the time is about to run out I'll make the pick now.

With pick 101 the Seattle Seahawks select... Demetrius Byrd, WR, LSU.

Guys I am reading the boards but I am working SXSW this week cause I can make more here than my other job. Hey I got to see third eye blind and I am getting into a show I cant name cause it is not listed as they are just doing a jam session free. The latter is not free.

I will pick for the Niners it just may be latter than y'all like. Just bare with me.

With pick # 102 of the 4th round the Cincinnati Bengals Select:

A.Q. Shipley OC Penn State.

Its probably a round to early for him but he is the last draftable C IMO and I have a huge need for one. My main goal in this draft was to improve the OL and pass rush. I believe I have accomplished that.

This has been a good mock with solid picks for the most part. It has opened my eyes to a few things. I would probably pick a little differently if I could do it over. If this mock holds even relatively true then there is going to be some very good talent left for us in the later rounds. Breaking down whats left has made me realize that there are more Rotational DL in this draft than I had believed. By rotational I mean not coming in and starting right away but being talented enough to be included in the rotation early on.
Guys like
Vance Walker Georgia Tech DT43
Sammie Lee Hill Stillman DT43 DE34
Roy Miller Texas DT43 DT34
Alex Magee Purdue DT43 DE34
Matt Shaughnessy Wisconsin DE43
Orion Martin Virginia Tech DE43 OLB34
Chris Baker Hampton DT43 DT34
Brandon Williams Texas Tech DE43
David Veikune Hawaii DE43
Corvey Irvin Georgia DT43
Terrance Taylor Michigan DT34
Michael Bennett Texas A&M DE43
Phillip Hunt Houston DE43 OLB34
Ian Campbell Kansas St DE43

Also there is a pretty good group of draftable RB's left.

Glen Coffee Alabama RBF
Quinn Johnson LSU FB
Javon Ringer Michigan State RBF
Andre Brown North Carolina St RBF
Jeremiah Johnson Oregon RBC
James Davis Clemson RBF
Cedric Peerman Virginia RBC
Kory Sheets Purdue RBF
Gartrell Johnson Colorado State RBF
Marlon Lucky Nebraska RBF
Tyrell Sutton Northwestern RBC

This really looks good for us.

A.Q. Shipley Penn State OC
Ray Feinga BYU OG
Andy Kemp Wisconsin OG
Ryan Stanchek West Virginia OT OG
Louis Vasquez Texas Tech OG
Andrew Hartline Central Michigan OT OG
Jason Watkins Florida OT
Lydon Murtha Nebraska OT
Greg Isdaner West Virginia OG
Augustus Parrish Kent State OT OG
Sebastian Vollmer Houston OT
Jose Valdez Arkansas OT

Lots of good OL left. This is also incouraging.

Chip Vaughn Wake Forest SS
Emanuel Cook South Carolina SS
Michael Hamlin Clemson SS
Nic Harris Oklahoma SS
Derek Pegues Mississippi St FS
Sherrod Martin Troy FS
Kevin Ellison USC SS

Maybe another late round steal in the secondary?

Captain Munnerlyn South Carolina CB
Asher Allen Georgia CB
Domonique Johnson Jackson State CB
DeAngelo Smith Cincinnati CB
Cary Harris USC CB

Or LB?

Kaluka Maiava USC OLB43
Gerald McRath Southern Miss ILB
Cody Brown Connecticut OLB43 OLB34
Jason Phillips TCU ILB
Zack Follett California OLB43
Dannell Ellerbe Georgia ILB
Jonathan Casillas Wisconsin OLB43
Josh Mauga Nevada ILB
Victor Butler Oregon St OLB43
Mortty Ivy West Virginia OLB43
Maurice Evans Penn State DE43 OLB34
Brian Toal Boston College OLB43

According to Smith, the Bears are starting the free agent they signed from Carolina at right tackle. Give me time, Pete, it's in the plan.
This draft got completly out of line with what I was going to do when Sanchez and Harvin fell to me.

I've been out of it the past few days. I've got a sinus infection AND the flu. I'm willing to pick up another team at this point. Vikings?

Can we get an OFFICIAL ruling by whoever has taken over as the moderator as to what the clock is?

Are we still sticking with 12 hours at this point?

I'll go along with keeping the rules the same. Is JCTexan moderating at this point?

I don't see why we would change it now. It has been 11 hours since the last pick, so hopefully the Jags make the pick soon.

Cool. Just wanted to get an official word. And yeah, I asked because the clock is almost up. I'd love to keep this thing moving, obviously.

Just in case the Jags rep doesn't show up before the 12 hour mark, their previous selections are:

OHER, OT
BRACE, DT
DILLARD, WR

If y'all end up doing a group pick I would advise a CB. They could use the depth there.

Otherwise, go BPA.

I was literally about to post the same. All they've done to address their (what I think is a pretty desperate) need at CB is re-sign Scott Starks.

They could also use an OG I think... but CB looks like by far their biggest need.

Anyway, I'll keep from posting player names until the clock is out. Don't want to jump the gun.
