High School Using Texans Logo - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

I've seen teams use NFL logos before. This is the first time I've seen anyone using the Texans. Pretty cool to me, even thought they're called Mavericks.

Sam Rayburn uses the Texans logo, and they're called the Texans as well.

Umm, maybe Morton looks like that, but the school in the article and the photo is in San Diego.

OK, now I am wasting my time looking at all the cool helmet designs for teams accross Texas. Thanks RTP.

When did Deer Park switch to this? When I was in JH school there they had yellow helmets with the DP logo.

That's new to me, as of 1999 I thought it was a maroon helmet with gold DP on it. I like that design though.

Brashear Bulls here in pittsburgh use the logo as well. The logo was painted on a local bar I went to and was freakout out until I found out it was a local high school team

The Texans NFL logo is registered and copyrighted. Wonder what the implications may be.

The Pearland Oilers no longer have an oil derrick on their helmuts, but just the letter P. When did that happen?

I graduated from Pearland back in '69, obviously I haven't kept up with them. LOL

my HS football's logo was a black R on a silver helmet. but our school was broke as a joke and a lot of kids just didn't get the R's
