Ah finally acceptance!
I think 24 hours later I have finally made it to the final stage of grief and have reached acceptance.
Denial (this isn't happening to me!)
Anger (why is this happening to me?)
Bargaining (I promise I'll be a better person if...)
Depression (I don't care anymore)
Acceptance (I'm ready for whatever comes)
I came honme from the game yesterday and rewatched the game on DVR, then I watched the final 4:04 minutes about a dozen times and have read almost every post of every thread on TT and some of the other Texans fan forums. I have watched Gary's press conference and listed to enough Houston talk radio to last a month so I am finally accepting my fate.
I appreaciate all of the posts I have read on this board whether I agree or disagree because I know we all want this team to succeed and are tired of the losses.
That said my sons 1st birthday is tomorrow and I will be damned if I am going to carry this around with me on such a great day! See you next Sunday from section 514 where I will be cheering on MY team the 0-4 Houston Texans!
Read Lone Survivor, The eyewitness account of Operation Redwing if you want to know about true American heros!
