Default A-Stews Mock Draft. Rounds 1-3.

Round 1

Tavon Austin (WR)- West Virginia

-Great speed, reliable hands and is arguably the most electric player in this draft. He lacks ideal size, but in todays NFL can be utilized to be a game changer. Will not only boost the WR core and help out Matt Schaub, he was the best return man in college football.

Round 2

Kawann Short (NT)- Purdue

-In this round you need to look at filling the hole in the middle (literally). Short has a 2nd round grade and has the size and strength that you would look for in a long term NT. If he's gone here I would look at Sylvester Williams from UNC.

Round 3

Jelani Jenkins (ILB)- Florida

-As one would expect for a linebacker of his size, Jenkins can get swallowed up, at times, when attacking the line of scrimmage. However, attacking is precisely the way to describe Jenkins' style of play as he reads the action quickly and is extremely aggressive. Has 4.5 speed and is great in coverage. Would be a great compliment to Brian Cushing on the inside.

Round 3

Jawan Jamison (RB)- Rutgers

-Forsett is a FA, and I don't see Ben Tate in our long term plans, could even be traded if the price is right. Jamison is a work horse, versatile RB who can would be a perfect compliment to Foster.
