It's easy to root for these guys. I'm a little older now and I can't just throw my loyalty to a team without caring about the types of players that play for that team. It might have taken a little longer to build a winner but I'm glad Mcnair has taken the "high road".

I love they are getting those jackets, and even more that they are going to wear them on the plane and team bus.

LOVE IT.

That is so great.

Barwin and Cody may not be our best players but I think they bring something to the table off the field.

Hope we can retain them at a reasonable cost.

I bet this is the first time an NFL team has ever done this, i think its a great idea for sure. Started our own little tradition hopefully.

I like it. Builds camaraderie among the players. Even if they don't stay texans or new guys come in, they will always have those memories from when they were here no matter how short or brief.

As much as this game is about the business, it's nice to see some guys who are enjoying the experience.

I like letterman style jackets and If it actually got colder in Houston I would get one without the patches.

If they think it works then good for them. It's pretty cheesy, IMO, but that doesn't mean it's a terrible idea. I think it's more of a camaraderie thing for the team than anything else. As a fan, I wouldn't be caught dead in a "letterman" jacket for a pro team. That's reserved for high school for me, but if it helps the Texans players to wear them by all means go for it.

Nfl will and probably is ALL over this. Well I imagine he Texans have been working on his for a while through the league office. I expect this to be the next hottest thing when the league gets all its ducks in a row through every team. Course I could be wrong

The jackets were sleek-looking, and probably very expensive, but kind of high-school-ish, IMO. I'm glad they're no longer wearing them.

The one thing I like about McNair is that he will buy his team whatever it needs. I'm betting he spent a pretty penny on those jackets. Too bad his team then went out and screwed up.
