I'm not sure if this has been brought up. I was going to put it in the old draft thread but didn't think it belonged in the Texans forum.

BUT.

Shelley Smith is starting for the Rams. I had really high hopes for him when he was drafted and I hope he does well there.

I had high hopes for him as well when he was drafted. I wish it would have worked out here but I wish him the best of luck. Sometimes a change of scenery is what's needed to jump start a guys career.

Rams O-Line is awful. Fish has been doing an admirable job coaching that group up.

Can you imagine a team with a Danieal, Whitney, and Shelley?

I've seen a couple Rams games this year, and there's a good reason they only have 1 rushing touchdown scored so far in 2012. No interior push, terrible pass protection from the tackles, etc etc. The only good O-linemen they have is a center who is much better at pass protection than run blocking. It's good for Smith, but doesn't mean the Texans let the next Steve Hutchinson walk.
