Let's sit and just look at these stats...

7.5 Sacks in just 4 games. That's unheard of for a 3-4 DE! Damn JJ you are a monster. I'm so glad we have him on our side.

In many future games against opponents, you will hear sports announcers ponder, "Watt happened to the Texans' opposing offensive line?" with a response of, "Exaclty."

EDIT: I know, corny, it's been a long day.

From McClain's blog:

Quote:
In the Texans’ 4-0 start, Watt has 32 tackles, 7 ½ sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 10 quarterback pressures, five passes deflected and two fumble recoveries.
JJ is having an epic season. But he has made 20 tackles thus far, not 32.

If you multiply each one of those numbers by 4 to give you what he's on pace to have by season's end, that would probably be the greatest year by a DE, and maybe any defensive player, in the history of the NFL!

Just outstanding and some well deserved recognition!

Player of the Month for September, October, November, December - good.

Player of the Month for January - better.

Player of the Month for February - best!

I don't think they have Player of the Month for February but Super Bowl MVP would do just fine!

With an assist by Favre.

Total bull**** move, IMO. Cheapens what the previous sack record holder accomplished.

Hated it then, hate it now.

I agree. I hope Watt can put the record at 25+ this year so that bs record can fall to second place.

Favre pretty much admitted it was a setup, iirc.
