Does the NFL flip at the combine or the draft? Drafting 19th would be nice. Moving up just one spot in the draft has some nice value.

We’ll find out soon, because the coin flips that break their draft-order ties will occur in Indianapolis at the scouting combine, which gets into full swing later this week.

Oh and by the way, McClain also reports we get the Chargers 6th round pick, not 5th like some had hoped, for the Travis Johnson trade. Guess he wasn't worth as much as some people thought.

I don't want a DT in the first unless it is a fantastic value for some reason but I can't believe we have folks that want to turn 1 or 2 bad experiences into a general rule. So they missed on TJ. Big whoop it happens. They missed on Carr too. Should they have a rule against ever drafting QBs in the 1st?

By that logic, trading with the Raiders for a starting CB should be a non-starter.

not directly related but the Texans did go another route for Schaub, trading two 2nd rd. picks & swaping TOP 10 1st's. on the other hand Baltimore traded with Texans for a QB (Flacco) & it only cost them swaping late 1st rd. picks & a third

I think Schaub's a far better QB thus worth the higher price it took to get him.
