Default 2nd mock draft of 2010

the 2nd so far and now i got the hang of things

1st pick

fs

Reshad Jones*, FS/SS, Georgia
Height: 6-2. Weight: 207.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
Projected Round (2009): Top 20 Pick.
5/23/09: As a sophomore, Reshad Jones managed 76 tackles, five interceptions and three passes broken up

2 nd

dt

Jared Odrick, Penn State - Scouting Report
Height: 6-5. Weight: 300.
Projected 40 Time: 5.09.
Projected Round (2010): 1-2.
11/28/09: Jared Odrick has been great this year, racking up 41 tackles, 10 TFL and six sacks. He has first-round talent, but will likely go in Round 2 because of an arrest back in March.

2/14/09: Rebounding off a season-ending ankle injury in a big way, registering 41 tackles, 9.5 TFL, 4.5 sacks and three passes broken up. He qualified for the All-Big Ten First Team.

8/1/08: Jared Odrick was a consistent force in Penn State's starting lineup last season until he suffered a season-ending ankle injury. He managed four tackles for loss and two sacks.

3rd round

rb

Anthony Dixon, Mississippi State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 240.
Projected 40 Time: 4.56.
Projected Round (2010): 2-4.
11/7/09: A powerful runner having a great year, Anthony Dixon has rushed for 1,001 yards and nine touchdowns in eight games. He can also catch the ball out of the backfield.

2/6/09: Anthony Dixon compiled 869 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. He also registered 20 catches for 117 yards and two more scores.

7/25/08: Anthony Dixon is a huge power back who moves pretty well at his impressive size. He rushed for 1,066 yards and 14 touchdowns (3.7 YPC) and also caught 14 passes out of the backfield. As long as he's not super slow at the combine, he'll be a mid-round pick.

4th round pick

center
J.D. Walton, Baylor
Height: 6-3. Weight: 305.
Projected 40 Time: 5.24.
Projected Round (2009): 4-5.

5th round pick

wr/ kick returner i want him for kick returns

Brandon Banks, Kansas State
Height: 5-7. Weight: 155.
Projected 40 Time: 4.29.
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.
10/10/09: One of the top kick-returners in the nation, Brandon Banks has two scores on a 35.5 average.

6th kicker

Aaron Pettrey, Ohio State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 198.
Projected Round (2010): 6.
3/14/09: Aaron Pettrey headlines this weak kicking class; he was just 7-of-8 in 2008, but connected on 6-of-7 tries from beyond 40 yards. He hit two 50-yarders, including one from 54.

7th

olineguard

Joe Thomas, Pittsburgh
Height: 6-5. Weight: 302.
Projected 40 Time: 5.31.
Projected Round (2009): 6-7.
7/28/08: Another Joe Thomas, but it's safe to say this one won't be as good as the one who came out of Wisconsin. Thomas started seven games at guard for Pittsburgh as a sophomore. Also played right tackle.

Default Re: 2nd mock draft of 2010

I like your picks thru round 4 but think Odrick will be a first rounder. The fight with 3 guys and a girl when he was drunk should not push him down much if any. What are you doing for a Dunta replacement or do you see him tagged again at $13 million? You're ok with our Oline? Good work! Enjoyed the read.
