Linebacker is the way to start building a defense. Every great defense has at least one outstanding LB. That's why Texans got Sharper, he's one of the outstanding LBs. Just look at TB with D. Brooks, Baltimore with Ray Lewis, Chicago with Urlacher, etc.
If I was a GM or Owner of a expansion team, and had a pick of any defensive player in the NFL. I would go with Brian Urlacher, he's young and he's one helluva athlete.

umm....boulware?....
actually, the texans got jamie sharper, but we get your point, you probably just got confused in names and the fact they both played in baltimore. i like sharper better than boulware anyway because his coverage skills are more tuned and he's quicker to the ball carrier.

I would say LB is very important as well. They stop the run and pass.

Mine is a DL. Their the ones that can stop the run or the pass with great skill to. Once they get a hold of that qb then its over, you dont have to worry bout a safety or cb.
