no way dallas takes cody when pac-man jones is still on the board. other than that, it looks solid enough; also, i don't think merriman will go that early... i still think he'll last for dallas' other picks (sorry for all the dallas commentary, lol).

also, are you sure houston wants to take someone on the defensive side of the board? personally, i think they need to pick up a solid OL, but that's just me.

Cody will not go that early.
Marcus spears will not be a top 15 pick.
other than adjusting our pick and dallas's pick it look somewhat solid.

i'm curious as to why ya'll don't see us draft spears at the 13th...the way he's been producing at the senior bowl is stock is rising if he has a good workout at the combine his stock will be rising even more and with the comparisions to richard seymor why would he not be worth a 13th pick...with the dallas picks...dan cody on some boards is the best DE and the dallas scouts have been all over hawthorne telling him they think he would be perfect for their system...another thing why do ya'll think dallas will invest another 1st rounder on a DB...dallas will find away to get a veteran corner and safety not through the draft this year

Spears may be climbing into the top-10 by dominating his competition at the Senior Bowl. At this point...right now, I am more sold on him after he has been dominating players that match his skill level. The hardest thing about watching college players and projecting them to the NFL is they are mostly playing guys who were great HS players most weeks but dont play NFL caliber guys week in week out. People get all impressed when some lineman dominates someone with no NFL potential...and they think that a pancake block on Joe Nobody translates to a pancake block at the pros.

On Cody I tend to agree. I know he is getting a lot of love, but I'm not sure he is going to be able to hold up against the run enough to be above average as a 3-4 lineman. He looks more like a one-gap Hovan type player to me.
