Grading the Titans Game

I was out of town and missed all but the last 5 minutes of the 1st half. I saw Matt get smushed a couple of times and I saw AJ drop a pass on the 5 yard line that he should have caught. Appeared that Dayne had a good 1st half. Also saw Weary go down. With all our/my complaining this year .... well, this team is still better than last year's. While losing is not acceptable, I believe losing this game 28-20 is an improvement over last year. If we can have a good draft and pick up some key FA's this offseason and maybe replace an assistant coach or 4, we could be very competitive next year. WE ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY HAVE TO MAKE THE OLINE A PRIORITY THIS OFFSEASON.

I think we'll get a good idea of where Kubes is taking (or trying) to take this team this offseason with FA signings and the draft. I'm getting tired of beating this horse for the time being. Yeah, they stink, yeah there isn't much hope of another win this year. Might as well just sit back and watch Mario and Sage for a couple more games to see what happens.

I'm saving my rage for the draft, because I'm absolutely certain that no matter what they do, it'll have me hitting the ole Jack Daniels again.

BTW, I did see a real miracle happen during the 5 minutes of the game I got to see. Dayne took a handoff and headed straight for a pile of players in front of him ....... and miracle of miracles he actually side stepped to the right and gained about 6 yards!!!

As I posted previously, there has to be an imposter wearing his number for the Texans.

It's debatable....last year's team did beat the Colts.

I'd really like to agree that we are improving, and in certain individual areas we can see it. But it's still the same old Texans for the most part. Leading the league in turnovers and points given up on turnovers, inconsistent, unable to stop third down conversions on defense and unable to convert third downs in key situations on offense, unable to win more than two gams in a row, yada yada yada.
