nine reasons why David Carr is better than a sack of potatoes
9. A sack of taters might make a good meal, but it can't throw a football more than 8 or 9 yards. Carr can throw accurately at least 11 yards. ![]() 8. Carr can grow hair, taters only grow those root looking things. ![]() ![]() 7. Carr eats taters for supper. ![]() 6. David Carr's eyes are permanently attached to his head, unlike this guy. ![]() 5. David Carr is likely not coveted by Napoleon Dynamite.

4. David Carr never inflicted famine on the Irish.
![]() 3. As far as I know, no one has ever dared to call Carr "Crinkle Cut." ![]() 2. Carr had absolutely nothing to do with the freedom fries fiasco. Potatoes, on the other hand were right in the middle of the fracas... ![]() 1. Drum Roll Please!!! To get Carr in your stadium, it'll cost your team several million dollars. You can get fried taters at any stadium for $5 or less.

That Bear was also called a work out warrior. But then again you just have to be in a 50 foot radius of Carr to put yourself in a position to register a sack.

David Carr has been on tough cookie during his tenure with the Texans, and I'll always give him mad props for taking a licking and keeps on getting up. HOWEVER, have you ever happened to clean your automobile and find an old McDonalds french fry under your seat? Those things look just the same as the day you ordered it!! I mean, years can go by, and those suckers still look the same - no mold, decay, or even deterioration. So I've got to give the mighty spud a nod, because a nuclear winter would only leave cockroaches, Keith Richards, and those old french fries on the planet. |
