Davis, Coleman, Sanders sign deals
By Steve King, Staff Writer

The Browns took major strides Tuesday in addressing their efforts to beef up the interior of their offensive line and convert to a 3-4 defensive scheme.

Linebacker Andra Davis signed the clubs one-year tender offer, the Browns inked unrestricted free-agent offensive guard Cosey Coleman to a two-year deal and they re-signed cornerback Lewis Sanders.

When hes been able to stay healthy, Sanders has been productive since being drafted in the fourth round in 2000. And he was able to stay on the field more in 2004 than ever before, starting five games and intercepting two passes.

Bringing Sanders back was important after Anthony Henry signed with Dallas in free agency last week. Crennel said Sanders could play corner or safety, but probably would begin the offseason at corner.
