Because in the 70's Cowboys fans didn't know how to be magnanimus in victory to ANYBODY hence your team beating them gave you the distinct priviledge of being in the presence of a SILENT Cowboy fan.
Also in the 90's the players were as obnoxious as the fans were and telling them to "shut the #uck up" became a full time job. Also it's a bit early in the season to start making Superbowl predictions. Just ask the Saints and Chargers.
