I think it all comes down to:
1) MORE SACKS
2) BETTER PASS PROTECTION
3) better TE (Joppru?) and maybe starting RB
All that other stuff you said is how it looks because we cannot execute. We can get interceptions and we can run well against zone pass coverages, but we're just taking what their D gives us and our D is just letting them drive, until they make a mistake, which our DBs are very good at sniffing out.
I would agree that we sometimes insist on running, at least part of the time, when our running game is terrible. Sometimes it is and sometimes it's not. Every coach is going to insist on running at LEAST a third of the time or so, so we better get a solid, consistent running game.
