D-Ware or Revis weren't ever coming obviously, but I was hoping for some average free agents to fill some holes. Aren't there only two defensive linemen on the roster? Cam Thomas and Ziggy Hood are out there.
There is a reason why jackson, woodley, hood, and spikes are free agents. Its either age, injury,or production. Who wants to overpay for guys like that. You wait and the closer it gets to the draft, the better the price. After this 2 week run, teams go back to their draft stuff. Players and agents know this. So a guy like woodley who had 37 sacks in his first 3 yrs but 13 in his last 3,he's gonna take a below avg deal. Tyson jackson who went to atl isn't worth much of anything and that's why kc didn't even bother. Spikes is young and solid and ne didn't even offer him anything.

Let those teams trying to make a splash spend the money and then moving in and get quality players cheap.
