That's an awesome verbal beatdown, especially in hindsight after Sherman's team wins a championship.
"I'm better at life than you"
You see so many respectable and great pro athletes that seem to despise Skip Bayless. It makes you wonder, why?
Truth is Bayless makes his living on controversial opinions. I think he pulls most of them out of his butt because controversy keeps him "relevant" as it pertains to being an entertainment figure.
However, the truth of the matter is those that cannot work for an actual professional sports team, write about them instead.

If the head coach has doubts about his work ethic, then so I. I'll take his observation over some hack ESPN reporters any day of the week.
This is what I don't get.
Fine, use Bayless or Stephen Smith as a reference opinion, but let's not get stupid with it and act like they have the qualifications to be an assistance coach in the NFL, much less a head coach.
The story was pure hearsay to begin with. It was about Manziel and Bortles being the Texans top picks, but O'Brien is reportedly concerned about Manziel's potential lack of work ethic and intangibles.
But, the story starts with "According to trusted sources..."
, like that's the be all/end all of truth in media. Yeah, and according to trusted sources, Harbaugh was not consulted when he hired Kubiak. Riiiiiiiiiight
"According to trusted sources..." the moon landing is fake!
"According to trusted sources..." Elvis is still alive!
"According to trusted sources..." 09/11 was perpetuated by the U.S. government!
"According to trusted sources..." Vince Young was a Hall of Famer before he even got drafted!
