They mentioned a stat on NFLN the other day for these categories, and Manning's record is abysmal when teams shake up his routine and knock him around. His record in incremental weather is horrible, as well. Indy's dome treated him well.
Should be a good matchup, because the Seahawks secondary is so good that they can man coverage every position. They'll knock the snot out of Welker if he tries that pick and roll block again. I'd expect they will greet him with a hit just as hard.
I think this will be a key reason why the Seahawks defense outperform the Broncos offense. The Seahawks have a physical style I haven't seen across the year from any other team on a consistent basis. Their physicality with WRs doesn't allow quick plays, and their ability to break up offense's attempt to counter that with RB screens/drump offs backs it up.
If Peyton can't get the ball away quickly, Seattle will be able to get him moving around. A large part of the deciding matchup will be if the Bronco WRs can figure out a way to negate the physical attention they are going to get as soon as the ball is snapped (and I personally can't see it happening to a degree that will allow them to win the game).
