He was released because he wasn't performing and we had injuries. Now he's referred to as someone everyone wanted to keep but the Texans released him because they are dumb. Jacoby Jones is another one.
I think you're missing the point. Your memory is correct, but no one is saying Trindon was all that & a bag of chips when he was here. We knew he was a one dimensional specialist, but he had value. Our ST coach... who most people outside of Reliant, wanted gone could not find a way to exploit that talent. Trindon, then Jacoby moves on & they're contributing to some pretty exciting seasons of other teams. Whether we're talking about blocking for him, or helping him understand when to take it out of the endzone & when not to, or not letting those gaffs define the outcome of their games.

Trindon Holliday will be on Denver's 53 next year. No question about it. They won't even consider it because they've realized that value. Jacoby... he's still got to prove himself as a receiver to justify the money he's making, but they'll ask him to take a pay cut before he's outright cut.

Quentin Demps is starting at safety for the KC Chiefs. He's recorded an INT in each of the last three games. He also returns kicks for them & he's scored a TD for them in that role, while we're going to be rooting for Shilo Keo to not screw up.

Anyone expecting Keo to return a punt for a TD? Anyone expecting him to INT an errant pass?
