themselves, I don't get the sense that they're falling apart. Antonio & Manning sound like they definitely don't want a change at the QB position & since both of them have been through that kind of "turmoil" I value their opinion. But Cushing, Wade Smith, Arian... they sound like they're supportive of the no change.
No doubt you see it on the field. Keyshawn Martin's 49 yard return despite the poor blocking, Arian's extra effort despite the poor blocking.
You also see things that don't jive as well. Giving up two 70+ yard TD scoring drives to SF. The frustration shown by Duane Brown & Antonio vs San Fran.
We'll see what kind of effort they put forward tomorrow. Especially after the next interception.
I agree. I think.this could still be a championship season. This team has more talent, by far, than any Texan team... And thir health is pretty good. Also, the defense looks like it could be special this year... Most nfl champs the past few years have faced similar regular season hurdles. Overcoming adversity during the season in today's NFL seems to be a crucial element to peak at the right time and positioning to make a superbowl run.
Of course, as Texan fans, these disappointments in the past have exposed irreparable weaknesses, not just adversity... So, we aren't trained to have hope in the midst of this crap.
