You're correct. It would be mundane outwardly. But the Texans want and need this game desperately (would be terrible to lose to the Rams). To me, it would strongly imply that if Schaub badly floundered, even early, there would be a strong possibility that he would be replaced by Yates. If Yates came in and floundered badly (or was injured), there would be no way that they would put Schaub back in (You only think that things were bad before). Therefore, they would need a viable backup.........hence, Keenum would need to be active. IMO, the Texans have to win this game at all cost.........for the sake of preserving a reasonable record to compete for the playoffs, and for the sake of preserving the locker room...........and for the sake of maintaining the support of their fan base..
