This offense has never had to rely on a "slot WR", because we don't pigeon hole our receivers as X and Y or even pigeon hole them to the slot.. We move our receivers around all over the field and we use our TEs mostly in the middle. Think about who we had before Martin (who didn't play that great last year and who looks scared to catch passes in traffic).. where's all these slot receivers our offense relied on?
I also don't care about camp, It was reported he was having a good camp last year as well and then the lights came on and real bullets started flying.. sorry, but so far he has been J.A.G
The team has searched for one and struggled offensively at times because it was lacking. We thought the position important enough to keep (and utilize) David Anderson for 2-3 years.
