Hopefully McClain has a trend going for next year as he had a poor 2010, great 2011, poor 2012....so could we get a great 2012? Sure as hell hope so.
Let's consider everything:

"In 2010, McCain seemed to have lost his confidence and was inactive over the last few weeks. The Texans used a second-round draft choice on Brandon Harris. With a new coach (Vance Joseph) and a new system, McCain played exceptionally well in 2011 as the slot corner. In 2010, McCain seemed to have lost his confidence and was inactive over the last few weeks. 2012: McCain broke foot in week 11 and missed rest of season. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...xans-defender/

2013: "Texans re-signed CB Brice McCain to a three-year contract.McCain was seeking $3.5-$5 million per season, but almost certainly settled for less in the frigid cornerback market. The Texans' slot corner each of the past three seasons, McCain notched 24 tackles and a pick in 2012. He played just 461 snaps, however, and graded out near the bottom of Pro Football Focus' CB ratings. That was likely due in part to the fact that he spent some time on the outside as Johnathan Joseph fought through injury." Mar 19 - 11:08 PM
