Reed was taken care of by Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia. For those who may not be familiar with the name, Meyers was Mario's surgeon. He is a nationally renowned athletic pubalgia ("sports hernia" which is essentially an entity that includes as one of its components adductor muscle tear/chronic inflammation) expert. With a successful surgery (and this is a surgery with very high success rates) without setbacks, he will have certainly been able to rehab over a period of 8-12 weeks. With his surgery having been performed the end of January, he can realistically be expected to be able to knock off the rust during OTA's and TC, and be good to go when he is needed this season.
