If he won't take $4 million-per...if we could even up it to $5 million-per and he'd still be wishy washy and need days to consider....then I'm ok with us pulling away and looking elsewhere.
Sometimes the best deal is the one you never made. This has become a situation of Ed looking for money and not necessarily opportunity. We don't need that in 2013, we need guys who believe we can get it done. Not looking for one last ride out of NFL City at the expense of our team's cap and roster spot(s).
I'm officially hoping we walk away and go get the other possible secondary players that fit the budget plan.
