This should not be the case. The Texans should know how much is available to them right now & how much they can free up if they need to. They should plan to spend somewhere between those two figures, if it makes this a better team.

Regardless what happens with Reed, we need an ILB, an OLB, an OT, a WR or two, a FB...... & just because we bring players in doesn't mean we need to sign them. We should be shopping just as much as the FAs are.
