Unless Matt Schaub improves his core arm strength, Texans will continue to run this intermediate passing offense. Which is why Patton is a perfect fit. He flashes natural ball tracking skills & will fight off defenders who jump routes by beating them to the spot. His window seems much larger than his frame or measureable from combine will suggest (numbers do lie). He is a sleeper pick much like Russell Wilson was for the Seahawks, does it really matter in the end where draft gurus rank or grade draft stock?
I mean really, Texans took Posey 68th overall. Wilson was still on the board because of draft grade/need whatever? He was selected 7 picks later by Seattle #75th overall. Dude reminds me of Fran Tarkington on steroids. Patton is a bigger version of Steve Smith. Get my drift
